They are not reliable. If you need some wisdom here it is.
Proverbs 2:6, “For the Lord gives wisdom, and from his mouth come
knowledge and understanding.”

Angel cards are oracle cards. They are not the same as tarot cards, though they are a similar tool.
How “good” they are depends on how you utilize them. They are not psychic, nor do they make you psychic. They are simply a tool that you use to help you think about your life situations from different angles.
Alternative Therapys: Reiki, Angel Cards etc.?
Hi, Im in the UK and I was wondering how would someone who is a practitioner of alternative therapys become a teacher of them? Is there a qualificaiton that someone needs to do to be able to certify other people in the practice?
Thanks in advance.

I have done an extensive search for what your asking and found only one place (that was accreditted) that certifies different types of alternative health field practioners.
They are here in the states but are a complete distance learning type school. The Australasian college of health sciences, their web address is: https://www.achs.edu/
They have a pretty good question and answer section and although they are not cheap by anymeans, you get what you pay for.
Hope this helps in your search.
how do you consecrate angel cards?
I’ve just been given my first deck today and I’m not sure how to consecrate them.
I’m a Wiccan. But i believe in the angels for healing and divination.
my mum only just bout the back and it was sealed so it hasn’t been used by anyone else.

Maybe set up a sacred space for yourself and light a candle. Voice your intentions and what you want use the angel cards for and dedicate them to that specific purpose. As simple as that. Its in your thoughts and intentions. Make sure though that you never use those cards for anything other that what you have intended. If the cards have been used by someone else befor ask that they be cleansed and you could symbolically pass them over flame (take care) for that. You could also visualise pure white light in your hands and put that into the pack. You could also ask for specific help in using the cards in the future, maybe your spirit guides or specific angelic help. You can make rituals as simple or as complicated as you want. It depends on the person. As long as the ritual you have devised enhances the ability to focus on your intent. — An add on after your add on. I highly recommend Scott Cunninghams “Wicca – A guide for the Solitary Practioner”. It is full of useful info and has a section on ritual design. Lots of bits on herbs, runes and symbols that you could use for dedication and protection purposes. It is a good book for anyone wishing to practice Wicca or to use some of the ways in their own spiritual practice.

As far as I know you can’t consecrate them, but you can get them Blessed by a priest they are sacramentals. Objects that are blessed like crucifixes, holy pictures, candles, bibles etc are always blessed, they are sacramentals that help keep us close to God.

What type of things do you use in your practice to “cleanse” things? And what types of rituals for “charging” things?
Some common cleansings are to leave items under full moon or full sun. To pass them through or over a flame, to bury them in salt, to smudge with incense or sage smoke, to visualize them being cleansed by white light. To speak an oath casting out previous energies.
Some common charging rituals are again…to leave the item under full moon or sun, to pass it through incense smoke while declaring the item for it’s new owner and use, to hold it between the palm and charge it with energy and purpose, To speak an oath dedicating it to it’s new purpose. To sprinkle herbs or powders over it in blessing. to sleep with the item under one’s pillow. To keep item on altar between two burning votive candles, lit with intention, until the candles burn out.
hope you find something there that speaks to you
